News: Two Metro-East Municipalities have adopted Alarm
Registration and False Alarm Management (ARFAM) Ordinances similar to the
City of St. Louis. Municipal Dynamics has been selected to administer the
ARFAM programs for Alton, Illinois and East St. Louis, Illinois.
Summary:
East St. Louis and Alton formally adopted their ARFAM ordinances on October
12, 2009 and February 25, 2010, respectively. Both municipalities have set
an effective enforcement date of June 1, 2010. Municipal Dynamics, program
administrator, will utilize the same software platform and procedures as are
managed for the City of St. Louis.
Municipal Dynamics has created a web page for each municipality
containing forms, documents and instructions regarding implementation of the
ordinances.
In addition, Municipal Dynamics will present program specifics at the
March 16, 2010 meeting of the Alarm Association of Greater St. Louis. All
alarm companies with alarm systems in Alton and East St. Louis are
encouraged to attend. Contact the Alarm Association directly for
reservations.
